A degree in Fine Art from London Guildhall eventually arrived, but only after some other more interesting training in Oxford, Bristol, and Florence.  However arguably the most significant moment came as an assistant to Halliday Avray Wilson, who encouraged Wilbur to stick with professional practice.

In a workshop just outside Oxford, Wilbur produces the intricate handmade sculptures.  With each one being unique, the processes meticulously follow their goal to create an item that will outlive its creator.  He has published work in various magazines, having written for Pembrokeshire Life, and his photographs have featured in Country Life, and British Vogue.

being

Outside of work, he has one attentive dog, and two others, who provide distractions from the smell of cut steel.  Further distractions include a raging obsession with motorcycles, and a growing interest in cooking food you might want to eat.
